Our Mission is Simple
We create a safe, inclusive, and supportive community for women to thrive on the water.
Girl Paddlers is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community. We welcome women of all skill and experience levels to join us in kayaking, SUP, canoeing, and any other water vessel.
We provide an environment where women feel safe, supported, and inspired to enjoy their paddling journey. Our range of products and services includes clothing, retreats, memberships, travel experiences, regional meet-ups, and an online hub to help women create community and thrive on the water.
As a paddler myself, I believe that paddling on any vessel is similar in the experience; the vessel is just different. I am focused on offering content, resources and a community environment to help paddlers learn, empower and support each other.

The Girl Paddlers team is a passionate and dedicated group who share a love of paddling and a commitment to empowering women who paddle.
Led by our CEO and Founder, Sonya, who is a seasoned marketing strategist, business owner, and visionary leader, our team is small but mighty.
Along with our small team are a crew of regional community moderators who help us bring the Girl Paddlers online experience to life in their communities through events and meetups.
Together, we work tirelessly to create a supportive and inclusive community for women paddlers around the world, offering resources, training, and opportunities for growth and connection.
